April 15, 2020  ADO LLC is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Since our founding in April 2010, we have helped many customers solve their complex engineering issues and optimize their products. With our help, they were able to expedite their product developments and regulatory approvals. Since then we have established long-term collaborations with multiple companies and universities. We appreciate the continuing support from all our customers.

»   June 15, 2018  ADO LLC made the presentation on "Minor Geometric Details Significantly Affect Hemodynamics and Hemocompatibility of a Miniature Ventricular Assist Device: A CFD Study" at the ASAIO 64th Annual Conference, June 13-16, 2018, Washington DC, USA.

»   June 18, 2016  As an invited key speaker, Dr. Jingchun Wu made the presentation on "Role of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in Blood Pump Development" at the ASAIO 62st Annual Conference, San Francisco, USA.

»  June 26, 2015  Collaborated with Carnegie Mellon University, ADO LLC made the poster presentation about "Simulation of Thrombosis Growth in HeartMate II" at the ASAIO 61st Annual Conference, Chicago, USA. This sensational presentation has attracted wide attention in the field of blood pumps. The transient CFD simulation incorporated a new thrombosis model based on Sorensen et al. The transport and reactions of thrombus growth were modelled by convection-diffusion-reaction equations. The CFD simulations replicated patterns of thrombus deposition within the HeartMate II, similar to those reported clinically.

»  Oct 25, 2013 ADO LLC announces participation of 2nd FDA’s CFD/ Blood Damage Computational Round Robin: Model Blood Pump:

“Computational Round Robin #2 is an international effort to assess the state of the art in biomedical computational fluid dynamics. FDA devised a benchmark standard model of a model centrifugal blood pump. We are asking the CFD community to run a set of simulations under given flow rates and pump speeds. We are also performing experimental validations of flow in the pump for comparison.”
